Umoja Teen Retreat

Umoja Teen Retreat — A Mindfulness Camping Weekend for Teens
December 4–6, 2026 · Weeki Wachee, Florida · Ages 13–18

Umoja means unity; coming back to yourself and to each other. This is a three-day camping retreat where teens put the phones down, sleep under real stars, and learn how to quiet a mind that never gets asked to rest.

Over the weekend, teens will move through guided yoga and breathwork, meditation made practical (no sitting-still-for-an-hour required), sound healing, journaling, river time at the springs, and honest conversation around the fire. They'll learn tools for stress, focus, and big feelings that they can actually use back home… in school, in sports, in life.

No experience needed. No performing. Just space to breathe, move, laugh, and be a teenager in nature, held by a small group; only 16 spots, 8 girls and 8 boys — and experienced facilitators who do this work year-round.

A $40 deposit holds your teen's spot. The remaining balance of $40 is due by December 2, 2026. Space is intentionally small and fills fast.

This experience is brought to you by Faith Youth Services and Springzone St. Pete.

Why It Matters
