Retreat Policy
Our number one priority is always the safety of our participants, team and the local communities that we are visiting. It is our priority to ensure that you return home safely. We believe that new experiences in different places with new like-minded individuals is paramount to our evolution.
Pre-Trip Precautions:
Participants will not be permitted to attend if they have shown symptoms and signs of illness. If someone shows symptoms on the trip, we’ll separate that person from the rest of the group.
Booking & Payments:
Your booking is secure upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit. Deposits are nonrefundable unless Meeyogi cancels the retreat. When you commit to the retreat, your spot is no longer available to anyone else, and we immediately begin to incur costs to cover your retreat experience on our end.
As a participant, you agree to notify Meeyogi with a written notice of cancellation to receive a refund of any sort. Refund schedule is as follows (minus the nonrefundable deposit of $400):
At least 120 days prior to the date for a full refund of payments made to date.
Less than 90 days prior to the trip date will receive a refund of 50% of payments made to date.
Less than 60 days prior to the trip date will receive a refund of 25% of payments made to date.
Less than 30 days prior to the trip date are not eligible for a refund.
If you need to cancel your retreat, please reach out to us as soon as possible. We'll work with you to find a solution that meets your needs whenever possible. This may include transferring your deposit to a future retreat date (subject to availability) or helping you find someone to take your spot. Replacements may be allowed at our discretion.
The full payment is due by May 31, 2026.
Travel Arrangements:
You are responsible for your own flight arrangements to and from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF). Airport transfers to and from the hotel are included in your retreat. Meeyogi is not liable for delays, cancellations, or irregularities with your travel providers or documentation.
Travel Insurance:
Travel insurance is recommended. Ensure your policy covers retreat activities, unexpected cancellations, illness, losses, and usual travel risks. Bring your policy for emergencies.
Your Health:
Inform Meeyogi about any injuries and be mindful of your limitations during the retreat. Stop any activity causing discomfort or injury immediately. Consult a doctor familiar with yoga to confirm your fitness for classes and other activities. Disclose any mental/physical health conditions and dietary requirements before booking. Pregnant women must provide a doctor's letter confirming travel and activity suitability.

Liability:
We ensure retreats are provided as described and contracted services meet reasonable standards. We are not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes due to events beyond our control (war, terrorism, closures, strikes, disasters, pandemics, technical issues, staff cancellations, or changes in your circumstances).
We are not liable for injuries incurred during yoga classes (participation at your own risk). We are not liable for medical/psychiatric conditions developing during or after the retreat. We are not liable for loss or damage to your personal property. We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items, including rented equipment.
Group Bookings:
Group bookings require authorization from all individuals on the form. These terms apply to each group member as if they had booked individually.
Complaints:
Inform the retreat organizer immediately of any problems. We will strive to resolve them promptly. We are not responsible for the individual behavior of group members or other guests.
Privacy Policy:
We respect your privacy and never share client data with third parties. The information provided is used only for the requested service and site administration/statistics.
Photography:
By participating, you grant Meeyogi and their photographer(s) irrevocable permission to use photographs of you and/or your property for publicity, illustration, commercial art, advertising, publishing (including online), product/service promotion, or other lawful uses as deemed appropriate. You waive any right to review or approve these uses. You may, however, request to not be photographed and we will do our best to exclude you from the photographs.
We reserve the right to cancel a retreat, particularly if at least 75% of participants haven't booked 90 days prior. In such cases, you will receive a full refund.
