Mya Cato is an internationally recognized yoga and meditation teacher, sound healing guide, and passionate advocate for holistic wellness. With over a decade of experience, she has guided thousands toward mindfulness, self-preservation, and holistic well-being. Her wellness journey began in 2014 while studying business in Tampa, Florida, when her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis became a pivotal moment. Faced with three generations of breast cancer in her family, Mya committed to a life of self-preservation to reduce her own risk and inspire others to do the same.

Burned out from overworking in her early twenties, Mya turned to yoga to manage stress and rediscover balance. Through extensive training in yoga, meditation, sound healing, mindfulness, and massage therapy, she has built a diverse repertoire and the ability to serve a wide range of audiences. Her teachings span traditional and modern yoga practices, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Power, Aerial, Nidra, Pranayama, and more.


Drawing inspiration from the African proverb, “Each one, teach one,” Mya founded her wellness brand, Meeyogi, in 2017. What began as a personal mission has grown into a reputable wellness concierge service, partnering with workplaces, residential communities, and luxury hotels and resorts.

Authenticity is the heart of Mya’s work. She empowers change through compassion, liberation, and truth, creating spaces for healing, growth, and connection. Grounded in her multicultural background and inspired by a vision of harmony, she is driven to cultivate a healthier, more mindful world.

Mya is also a dynamic keynote speaker, sharing her expertise on yoga, wellness, and the art of self-preservation. Whether leading a workshop, facilitating corporate wellness sessions, or speaking at events, her presence inspires others to embrace a life of balance, resilience, and inner peace.
